Create a **jEveAssets** icon to pin to the Windows 10 Start Menu, Start, and Taskbar

=== Create a usable jEveAssets shortcut ===

  - Navigate to the **jEveAssets** folder.
  - Create a shortcut for the **jeveassets.jar** file.
  - Open the shortcut's //Properties// 
  - Copy the text in the Target text box (just to be safe)
  - At the start of the Target text box enter **explorer "** (note the quote character.)
  - At the end of the Target text box add a closing **"** quote char. \\ Example of what you should see: \\ ''explorer "C:\Users\<username>\bin\EVE\jEveAssets\jeveassets.jar"''
  - Click [OK]
  - Click the shortcut and verify that **jEveAssets** starts.

  - Navigate to the **jEveAssets** folder.
  - Create a shortcut for the **jeveassets.jar** file.

  - Download [[https://eve.nikr.net/jeveassets/jeveassets-icons.zip|jEveAssets Icons]]
  - Extract icons from the ZIP file into a directory.\\ For example: \\ ''%% %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Images\Icons %%'' \\ -or- \\ ''%% %USERPROFILE%\Images\Icons %%''
  - Navigate to the **jEveAssets** folder
  - Open the **jEveAssets** shortcut's //Properties//
  - Click the [Change Icon] button
  - Select [Browse] and navigate to the icons you just saved
  - Select the file **jeveassets.ico** then the [Open] button
  - Click the [OK] button on the //Change Icon// window
  - Click [OK] again and you're done.

=== Add jEveAssets shortcut to the Windows 10 Start Menu ===

  - Copy the new **jEveassets** icon.
  - Open **File Explorer**
  - Click **View** menu and make sure the **Hidden items** checkbox is checked
  - Navigate to \\ ''%% %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs %%''
  - Paste the icon into the directory.
  - You should now see the icon **jEveAssets** icon in your Windows Start Menu.

=== Pin jEveAssets to Windows 10 Start ===

  - Locate either the **jEveAssets** shortcut you created or the Start Menu icon.
  - Right-click on it and select **Pin to Start**.

  - Left-click the Windows **Start** button.
  - Left-click **All Apps** (the 3rd icon from the top).
  - Right-click **jEveAssets** and select **Pin to Start**

=== Pin jEveAssets to the Windows 10 Taskbar ===

  - Locate either the **jEveAssets** shortcut you created or the Start Menu icon.
  - Right-click on it and select **Pin to taskbar**.

  - Left-click the Windows **Start** button.
  - Left-click **All Apps** (the 3rd icon from the top).
  - Right-click **jEveAssets**.
  - Select **More >** and right-click **Pin to taskbar**
