Create a jEveAssets icon to pin to the Windows 10 Start Menu, Start, and Taskbar

1. Navigate to the jEveAssets folder.
2. Create a shortcut for the jeveassets.jar file.
3. Open the shortcut's Properties
4. Copy the text in the Target text box (just to be safe)
5. At the start of the Target text box enter explorer “ (note the quote character.)
6. At the end of the Target text box add a closing “ quote char.
   Example of what you should see:
   explorer “C:\Users\<username>\bin\EVE\jEveAssets\jeveassets.jar”
7. Click [OK]
8. Click the shortcut and verify that jEveAssets starts.

7. Click [OK]
8. Click the shortcut and verify that jEveAssets starts.

1. Download jEveAssets Icons
2. Extract icons from the ZIP file into a directory.
   For example:
   %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Images\Icons
   -or-
   %USERPROFILE%\Images\Icons
3. Navigate to the jEveAssets folder
4. Open the jEveAssets shortcut's Properties
5. Click the [Change Icon] button
6. Select [Browse] and navigate to the icons you just saved
7. Select the file jeveassets.ico then the [Open] button
8. Click the [OK] button on the Change Icon window
9. Click [OK] again and you're done.

1. Copy the new jEveassets icon.
2. Open File Explorer
3. Click View menu and make sure the Hidden items checkbox is checked
4. Navigate to
   %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
5. Paste the icon into the directory.
6. You should now see the icon jEveAssets icon in your Windows Start Menu.

1. Locate either the jEveAssets shortcut you created or the Start Menu icon.
2. Right-click on it and select Pin to Start.

2. Left-click All Apps (the 3rd icon from the top).
3. Right-click jEveAssets and select Pin to Start

2. Right-click on it and select Pin to taskbar.

1. Left-click the Windows Start button.
2. Left-click All Apps (the 3rd icon from the top).
3. Right-click jEveAssets.
4. Select More > and right-click Pin to taskbar
